Mohammed Al-Mana College for Medical Sciences (MACHS) is proud to announce the opening of Physical Therapy program.
Physical Therapy is an evidence-based health care specialty that works with people of all age to treat physical problems caused by illness, accidents or aging in order to improve patient’s quality of life through examination, diagnosis, treatment and education.
The treatment incorporates a range of therapeutic modalities for example therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy, joint mobilization and massage are often use by physiotherapist to achieve rehabilitations goals.
The Physical Therapy program at MACHS is a full time Bachelor degree for those who wish to become physical therapist.
The program requires the completion of 131 credits over 8 semesters. Additionally, it is necessary to complete a one year clinical internship where students are work under the direct supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
