Learning Resource Centers

Learning Resource Centers are an essential part of the educational process. The College maintains learning resource centres and a fairly well-equipped electronic library where students, faculty and staff members have access to books, periodicals and reference materials that meet the needs of the different specialities as well as a variety of other communication media and online resources.

Main Library

MACHS library supports the academic programs of the College. It provides the electronic and hardcopy learning resources available to the faculty and students for their teaching, learning and research activities.

Science Learning Resources Center (SLRC)

The Science Learning Resources Center is a student-centred learning environment, dedicated to supporting students in their science coursework. It provides electronic learning resources and physical facilities to all of its users.

English Learning Resources Center (ELRC)

The English Learning Resources Center’s mission is to promote students’ success through the amalgamation of activities, workshops, and educational entertainment (EE) into the educational process at MACHS. The centre also aims to advance the learning experience of students and instructors in the institution. Moreover, it seeks to provide programs for students to achieve their academic goals and become independent, lifelong learners. At the centre, students are provided with academic and personal support in the form of tutoring by faculty members, peer-led group discussion sessions, peer tutoring and student workshops focused but not limited to English language proficiency tutorials. Likewise, ELRC provides writing mentorship (e.g. developing your essay, writing effectively and grammatically, honing your creative writing skills, etc.)
