Requirements for Admitting a New Student to the College

  • The applicant must have a high school diploma in Natural Sciences, General Track, Health and Life Sciences, Computer Science, or Engineering, or an equivalent recognized by the Ministry of Education from inside or outside the Kingdom, with a minimum grade of 80%.
  • A score of at least 65% on the General Aptitude Test.
  • A score of at least 60% on the Achievement Test.
  • Passing a medical exam before admission.
  • Possession of a national ID, residency permit, or student visa.
  • Each applicant must score at least 20 points and pass the written part (3 points or higher) of the English Placement Test. If the score is lower, the student can enroll in a Primer class to improve their English before admission. (If the student scores between 20-21-22 or 39-40-41 or gets less than 3 points in the written part, he/she will undergo an oral placement test to confirm the correct level.))

Admission Requirements for International Students

General Secondary Education

Students holding a high school diploma in the scientific or health track, or its equivalent from outside Saudi Arabia, may apply. The diploma must be certified by the Ministry of Education’s General Education Certificate Equivalency Service with a minimum GPA of 80%.

Additional Requirements

  • The applicant must pass a medical examination prior to acceptance.
  • The applicant must have a record of good conduct and behavior.
  • The applicant must meet any additional requirements determined by the college at the time of application.

Admission Requirements for the Diploma/bachelor’s degree Transfer Program

If the applicant’s specialization aligns with one of the college’s specializations

  • Possession of a national ID, residency permit, or student visa.
  • A cumulative GPA of at least 3 out of 5, or no less than 2.4 out of 4.
  • The applicant must attend full-time upon enrolling in the diploma transfer program.
  • For diploma graduates: The applicant must hold a diploma from a program lasting at least two years beyond high school in a recognized health care or scientific specialty, with biology, chemistry, and physics courses included in their prior degree. The institution awarding the diploma must be officially recognized in Saudi Arabia.
  • For bachelor’s degree graduates: The applicant must have a university degree in a recognized health care or scientific specialty, including biology, chemistry, and physics courses. The awarding institution must also be officially recognized in Saudi Arabia.
  • Medical graduates may be exempted from half of the internship duration if they have at least one year of work experience in the desired field, documented by a letter from their employer, provided that this experience is no older than two years.
  • For applicants with a diploma or bachelor’s degree from outside Saudi Arabia, an equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Education is required.
  • All diploma and bachelor’s transfer applicants must achieve a score of 41 or higher and pass the written/oral section (with a minimum score of 3) in the English placement test. If a student scores below this level, they may enroll in a Primer course to improve their English proficiency.
  • Applicants scoring between 21 and 40 on the English placement test who meet all other requirements may be exempted from preparatory year courses, except for English.
  • Students scoring between 41-43 on the English placement test will undergo an additional oral test to confirm their eligibility.
  • Exemptions from up to 25% of the preparatory year courses may be granted for students who achieve a score of 41 or higher, with ISLAM 100 and ENGL 100-1 being marked as TPASS.
  • The applicant must provide a no-objection letter from their employer, covering the program’s entire duration and internship, detailing official college hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) throughout the week and indicating that training will be outside the applicant’s work site.
  • Half of the training period may be waived if the applicant has at least one year of work experience in the college’s desired specialty.
  • Applicants must demonstrate good conduct.
  • All other conditions required by the college board must be met.
  • If the specialization is not offered at the college but is a medical science field:

    • All the conditions above must be met.
    • The applicant must complete the full training period.

    If the specialization does not align with the college’s offerings and is not a recognized medical or scientific field:

    • All completed courses and earned grades will be reviewed.

    Admission Requirements for Transfer Programs from Another University

    • Possession of a national ID, residency permit, or student visa.
    • The student’s overall GPA must not be less than 3.5 out of 5, or 2.8 out of 4.
    • The student must not have been expelled from another university or college for disciplinary reasons.
    • The student must not have been out of study for more than four semesters if he/she has withdrawn or discontinued his/her studies.
    • The student must have completed and passed at least 24 credit hours at his/her previous university.
    • The university/college the student is transferring from must be accredited by the Ministry of Education (MOE).
    • Each applicant must score at least 20 points and pass the written part (3 points or higher) of the English Placement Test. If the score is lower, the student can enroll in a Primer class to improve their English before admission.(If the student scores between 20-21-22 or 39-40-41 or gets less than 3 points in the written part, he/she will undergo anoral placement test to confirm the correct level.)
    • The College Council reserves the right to make any exceptions in accordance with MOE regulations.
    • If the student’s English Placement Test score is between 20 and 41 and he/she meets all other requirements, he/she may be exempted from preparatory year courses, except for English courses.
    • If the student scores between 41-43, he/she will undergo an oral placement test to confirm their score.
    • A student may be exempted from up to 25% of the preparatory year courses, including ISLAM 100 and ENGL 100-1, which will be awarded a TPASS grade if the student scores 41 or higher.
    • The applicant must provide a no-objection letter from their employer, covering the entire duration of the program and internship, indicating that official working hours at the college (8:00 am – 4:00 pm) will be honored throughout the week and that training will be conducted outside the applicant’s workplace.
    • An exemption from half of the internship period may be granted if the applicant has at least one year of experience in the desired specialization.
    • The student must have good conduct and behavior.
    • The applicant must fulfill any other conditions set by the College Council.

    In case the specialization does not align with the college, but falls under one of the medical sciences

    • All of the above requirements must be met.
    • The student must complete the entire internship period.

    In case the specialization does not align and is not one of the medical or scientific fields mentioned above

    • All courses and grades obtained will be reviewed.

    The Application Process

    First : Fill out the application form

    Fill out the application form by filling in your personal data, academic information, and the study program you wish to join. You can also choose and arrange your specialization desires according to preference.

    Second : Send the application form
    • Send the application form

    Make sure to complete the application form, ensuring that all the required information has been filled out correctly and that all the necessary documents have been attached. If some of the required documents and academic certificates are not available, you can choose to send the required documents later.

    Third : Pay admission fees
    • Pay admission fees

    Pay the non-refundable registration fee when applying for admission, as you will be provided with full information about the payment method when filling out the application form.

    Fourth : Submitting the academic certificates and required documents

    If you choose to send the academic certificates and required documents later, you need to submit them before the admission application is confirmed by the Admissions Department at the Mohammed Al Mana College of Medical Sciences.

    Fifth : English proficiency test

    All students applying must take an English language placement test provided by the college and obtain a score of 20 and above for undergraduate programs and a score of 41 and above for diploma transfer students.

    The Admissions Department at Mohammed Al Mana College of Medical Sciences will review the information entered in the application form. If there is a need to verify some information, the applicant will be contacted through the contact information that was filled out in the application form. Therefore, you must ensure that the information is filled out correctly before sending the application form.

    Seventh : Confirm acceptance
    • Confirm acceptance

    Once your acceptance is confirmed, an acceptance confirmation message will be sent to your email as well as to your mobile number that you provided in the application form. The message includes the following steps and procedures.

    Things To remember

    • You can submit single application, for multiple programs. But you need to choose the preference order. If your first preference will not be available, then your second program preference will be taken for admission, and so on
